AKM What does "health" mean to youth in the Eastern Mediterranean Region? - A call for creative narratives We would like to inform you of WHO initiative to celebrate the Sixtieth Session of the Regional Committee (RC) for the Eastern Mediterranean, which will take place in Muscat, Oman on 27-30 October. On this occasion, WHO/EMRO is inviting members of the public to reflect on their perception of health and submit a short 60-word narrative outlining what health means to them, or in other words, how do they define health. Participation is open to all and submissions from youth are particularly encouraged. The submissions are accepted in Arabic, English or French through an email dedicated to this purpose: RC60contest@emro.who.int .The deadline for submissions is Monday 30 September 2013, after which a WHO panel will choose five submissions for their creativity and originality, and each will be awarded US$ 200. WHO intends to display selected submissions during the RC meeting and use them in the WHO Regional Office web site/WHO advocacy materials.
